Job Description - Service Application Engineer
We offer a challenging and dynamic role within a technically driven team, responsible for both the sales support and execution of maintenance projects. Our work focuses on three key areas: Gas Turbine Overhaul, technical support and Spare Parts. We are currently looking for a candidate to join the Gas Turbine Overhaul section. You will be responsible for preparing technical scopes for upcoming overhauls and will work closely with the Sales Manager to prepare sales proposals. Additionally, you will support the execution of maintenance projects, working hand-in-hand with project managers and field service teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various cross-functional teams, grow technical competence, and continuously challenge yourself in an international environment.
Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields)
Technical experience with gas turbines or other types of rotating equipment (experience with Siemens turbines is a plus).
Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability
Ability to coordinate technical discussions, lead meetings, and present scopes to clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in IT systems/tools related to engineering and maintenance
Fluent in English
Meritorious Qualifications Experience with medium-sized gas turbine maintenance
Experience in service business environments
Knowledge of rotary equipment maintenance
Your Responsibilities Define technical scopes not only for overhauls and repairs but also for spare parts when customers require specific parts. You will collaborate to prepare detailed parts scopes as needed.
Recommend service bulletins, modifications, and improvements to enhance performance, availability, and reliability
Tailor technical proposals to meet client expectations and site-specific requirements
Define site activities, tooling, instruments, spare parts, and consumables needed for overhauls
Support modernization and upgrade projects, including scoping for sales and execution phases
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by proposing tailored technical solutions
Lead execution of maintenance projects as technical lead, collaborating with project managers and site teams
Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution and maintain technical support throughout the project lifecycle for successful delivery and customer satisfaction
Contribute to the preparation of LTP (Long-Term Program) contracts by providing technical feedback and scope details for the turbines under your responsibility.
