Technical Analyst (Diagnostic rules engineer)

In this role you will work within the Remote Diagnostic Center where you will develop and deliver our services for our customers! You will create new analytics to detect failure modes on our Gas & Steam Turbines.

How You’ll Make an Impact
* Your main delivery is to continuously improve existing analytics and to create new analytics, to cover more Failure Modes. The development of new analytics is made under a yearly R&D project in conjunction with SE Domain Experts such as e.g.; Vibrations experts, Performance experts etc.
* You will be part of the team supplying new analytics to the Diagnostic Engineers and making the day job easier and more efficient for the Diagnostic Team.
* Map the failure modes and understand control system logics on the MGT and IST fleet.
* Prioritize which analytics to be developed together with our Domain experts and the monitoring team.
* Analyze fleet issues and understand how analytics could detect them in an early stage.

 

What You Bring

* You are an engineer in mechanics / electronics / control systems or gathered equivalent competence from your previous roles.
* It is a merit if you in your previous role worked technically with the MGT or IST-fleet (SGT600-SGT800 and SST700&SST900;) especially as a commissioning engineer or other kind of field service.
* You can /master complex systems and have good analytical skills.
* You are proficient in English, both speaking and in writing.
* General IT skills and experience from writing code in Python and Block programming.

Experis is now looking to hire a Measurement engineer that will be part of a great team at Siemens Energy site in Finspång.

Description

You will be part of a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who are responsible for designing new rotating & stationary components and improvements for existing products in all crucial parts of a gas turbine. In this, you will be able to contribute to the design and validation of robust, reliable and highly efficient products.
As a Measurement Engineer, you will measure on, develop and maintain standard and prototype installations and measurement chains both in our workshop and in the field.
You will also work with improvement of existing products, support other functions like Procurement and Manufacturing both internal and external. Teamcenter and SAP will be common tools in your daily work besides practical elements linked to measurement electronics.
Your multi-disciplinary collaborations will include R&D disciplines like Aerodynamics, Solid mechanics, Blade & Rotor Dynamics, Materials, Production and the Service department.
On top of that, as part of a global organization, you will have the opportunity to build a network that expands across the world, from Europe to North America and Asia.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Engineering degree, preferably within electrical engineering.
* A well-driven person with a problem-solving mindset.
* A person that can work in a team and make it more effective & efficient.
* Experience of advanced measurement chains, from transducer to measurement system is meritorious.
* Some practical measurement experience (analog measuring circuits) is meritorious.
* Good English language skills are required. Swedish language skills are meritorious.

Assignment description

As a Quality Engineer (within the electrical field) will be responsible for; -planning, -coordinating, -controlling/monitoring and organizing quality activities in assigned order projects. These are based on Customer requirements, product definitions, internal instructions and regulations, local laws and regulations.

The work requires international business travels to our different Installation sites and Suppliers.


What are my responsibilities?
* Apply basic principles of protection in explosive atmospheres
* Review design and verify documentation of electrical installations in/or associated with explosive atmospheres
* Test electrical installations in/or associated with explosive atmospheres
* Perform visual and close inspection of electrical installations in/or associated with explosive atmospheres
* Perform detail inspections of electrical installations in/or associated with explosive atmospheres
* Perform audit inspections of electrical installations in/or associated with explosive atmospheres
* Support the assigned project team with knowledge of working process and project specific routines, when needed.



What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Good interpersonal and Communication skills.
* Results and quality orientation with focus on the customer.
* Experience in quality control/assurance topics, minimum 2-3 years
* Experience from electrical installation and design in explosive atmospheres is beneficial.
* English language skills is required, other language/s is beneficial.
* Experience from working in project teams.
* Knowledge of Siemens Gas turbine products is beneficial.
* Certified to IEC Ex 05 IEC:2009, by a recognized IEC Body (or willing to be certified)
* Engineer (preferably within the electrical field) with a bachelor's degree, or Technical upper secondary school with working experience. Any form of quality training is an advantage.
