As an IT Business Partner, you will be the front figure for our IT organization, working in a highly motivating and dynamic role ranging from strategical discussions to guiding the business in the right direction and everything in between!

One of our most important tasks is digitalisation, where your main responsibility will be determining business needs while guiding and advising the business about the most appropriate digital platform or technology. The role will also involve working with IT project management in many different areas. You will be part of a global digitalization organization with the possibility to many opportunities!

How You’ll Make an Impact
* Be an excellent partner and consultant to the business, regarding acquisition and use of IT streams and processes
* Guide and supervise the adoption of Digitalization within the business.
* Drive and support strategic demand planning and budget estimation, controlling and reporting
* Act as a point of contact for critical issues and an advisor within your assigned area of responsibility in all IT related issues
* Lead and execute projects together with the business

What You Bring
* An academic background within Information Technology, or similar with several years of professional experience in IT or a business related field
* Have a good understanding of current market trends to identify relevant technologies and contribute to the vision for the Digital Future
* A good track record of experience in IT delivery in the context of complex global organisational setups as well as high expertise in stakeholder engagement.
* Broad knowledge of applications like SAP with exposure to radical IT Innovation. Knowledge withing Siemens PLM products is a merit.
* You can identify demands from various environments such as Engineering or Manufacturing.
* A good understanding of industrial business environments.
* Proactive and motivated to take ownership for your work. You are target driven and think outside-the box.
* You are an excellent communicator in culturally diverse environments.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Siemens Energy is moving forward with the rollout of a new database for the Plant Engineering Software Comos.

Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated, visionary-minded person to govern and drive the continuous development of the Comos tool used in Medium Sized Gas turbines (MGT) and Heat Pumps (HP). In addition, you will also be part of an international team driving improvements in the PLM area across Siemens Energy.

In your mission you will drive the development and rollout of the new Comos. You will be in close collaboration with the systems engineering organization in MGT as well as with the colleagues from the value center (VC) PLM. You drive the implementation of the Part Centric, integrated seamless processes along the value chain.

How You’ll Make an Impact
* Act as the link between business engineering and IT
* Manage and develop the key user and user community and ensure that user training and support models are available
* Identify and drive digitization opportunities in the business around Comos-PLM
* Build and maintain Comos road map for MGT and participate in building the Comos Road map for Siemens Energy.
* Shape Comos place in the End-2-End data flow from R&D through Service at MGT and HP
* Keeping up with constantly changing technology by building relationships with your customers and suppliers
* Lead special projects related to digitization and automation. Be the interface towards other projects and organizations including PLM strategy, PLM/Teamcenter development, SAP/ERP strategy.

What You Bring
* Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degree required, preferably in engineering
* 5+ years of experiences of plant engineering business or equivalent. Knowledge of MGT engineering processes is preferable.
* Experience as a project manager in targeted selection and standardized implementation of tools across global locations as well as knowledge with project management tools e.g. Jira, MS Planner
* A talent for thinking creatively and redefining ideas into automating standard processes. You have the ability to plan ahead and be proactive.
* You can easily analyse data and present it to others as well has a demonstrated ability to communicate to senior management and peers alike
* You have successfully applied your good moderation skills and methodological knowledge in the area of PLM and 2D-CAD
* Good communication skills in English. Ability to travel as required.

About the Team

The position is organized in the Siemens Energy Global IT organization where you are reporting to Head of PLM Tools – Process – Data consulting. The Comos team you are working with consists of 5 Engineers and 4 IT Developers/IT Administrators.

As a Business Tool Owner you will interact with key partners across Divisions, Business Units, Regions and product lines, and therefore have a great opportunity to develop cross-culturally as well as in all common business processes.

* You act as advisor and escalation point of the business accountable management of the assigned area of responsibility in all IT related issues and initiate identified actions.

Ansvarsområden
